Biography
Deacon Solomon Giddings was born in 1714 at Ipswich, Essex, Province of Massachusetts Bay. Solomon was a private from Massachusetts in the Revolutionary War, and a deacon of the Fourth Church in Ipswich. Solomon married Sarah Burnham on 9 Dec 1736 at Ipswich, Essex, Province of Massachusetts Bay.
In 1753 the 2nd and 6th parishes were united, and called the 2nd Parish of Ipswich, and Solomon Giddings was appointed a Deacon (Crowell).
