Next of kin: Father; Edward MacFarlane. Mother; Annie L. Macfarlane (nee Horsfall), of Challis House, Martin Place, Sydney, NSW.
- Died of Wounds at Sea aboard HMHS Rewa, on 2 August 1915, aged 24.
- No Known Grave.
