She was the daughter of William L. Gordon and Cordelia Arnold. [1]
Virginia W. Roach married Pleasant G. Jones on July 10, 1878 in Trigg County after the death of Edward Thompson. Pleasant died in Cadiz June 23, 1900, and is buried in East End Cemetery. [2]
