Biography
Robert Lawrence was in the US Air Force, following that he joined the Dallas Police Force. He was killed in the line of duty (along with his partner) while piloting a Police helicopter searching for sites for the 1984 Republican Convention. The helicopter struck a power line and both officers were killed instantly.
