Mary (b 1713 - d London), was the daughter of Col John Foster of Jamaica and Elizabeth Smith of Barbados. On 16 Sep 1729, she became the first wife of Florentius Vassal, esq, of Westmoreland, Jamaica (b 1709 Jamaica - d 1776/8; bur St Marylebone, London; Will dated 20 Sep 1777).
They were the parents of:
Richard (b 18 Apr 1732 – d 1795 Golden Lion Square, London; bur St Marylebone), he m (29 Mar 1770 New York, license) Mary (b 20 Jun 1748 - d 16 Feb 1835 London, age 86), daughter of Thomas Clarke, of New York.[1]
