Biography
Ellyn was born before 1465. Her father lived at Midhope, Yorkshire. After her marriage, she and her husband lived at Little Mearley, Lancashire, England.
Research Notes
Whitaker's History of Whalley and Burke's Landed Gentry 1847 give Ellyn's LNAB as Fisher daughter of William Fisher. The 1480 agreement between her father and Roger Nowell's father for her marriage makes it clear that her father was Christopher Lister of Midhope, Yorkshire.[1]
