Biography

Steve was born in 1928. He was the son of Frank Thaggard and Annie Brown. He passed away in 1953.

It is not known if Steve ever married or had children.

According to his Find A Grave memorial, Steve served as a sergeant in the 135th Infantry Regiment of the 47th Infantry Division, which was a Minnesota National Guard unit. The unit was federalized, sent to Camp Rucker, Alabama, and used as a replacement division to supply troops to regular Army units during the Korean War, 1951-54. ^[1]

Steve died in 1953, but he is not listed among the Korean War killed in action.
