Eric Emanuel Häger was the youngest child of farm workers Johan Häger and Johanna Olofsdotter in Annestorp, Längnum parish. He was born 26 March 1889.[1]
Erik Emanuel left for North America 29 January 1909.[2]
He applied for naturalization as a citizen of the USA in 1919. The document lists his occupation as a blacksmith.[4]
In 1920 and 1930 Eric Hager lived in Seattle, King County, Washington with wife Hannah and two sons.[5][6] In 1940 the family had moved to Suquamish and one of the sons had left home.[7]
