She was enumerated in the 1841 Scotland Census living in the household of John Reddie, Esq. proprietor and farmer at Cuthill, Kinross. Sarah was a 20 year old female servant born in England. [3]
She married Thomas Stevenson 19 May 1844 in Kinross. [4]
In the 1851 Scotland Census, she said she was born in Arngask Parish, Kinross. [5] In the 1861 Scotland Census, she said she was born in England.[1]
She passed away 26 Mar1908 in Dunfermline, Fife. She was 81 years old and the widow of Thomas Stevenson, jobbing gardener. Parents were James Allison, ploughman and Ann Maria Murray. Informant was son, John A. Stevenson of Leith. Cause of death was sclerosis. [2]
