Aunt Prudye had an astounding collection of antiques from her years of work at an antiques place in St. Louis. It did restoration work such as replanting of brass and silver and electrification of such things as old oil lamps. I have a brass kerosene lamp that was done there for my mother that originally belonged to her Grandma Miles. When they retired to Kentucky, Genie and Prudye built a brick home on the Hazel Highway outside Murray. Prudye filled it with antique furniture and accessories, bric-a-brac, china and crystal, and even linens.
