Biography
Mary was born in 1898 in Deitz, Fayette County, WV. She is the 4th child and 2nd daughter of Allen and Joanna Hawver Wood. She married Gordon Davis February 17, 1917 in Catlettsburg, KY.

After her husband's death she bought a house in Ansted, WV. There she lived alone until she moved in with her daughter Ann in Oak Hill, WV.
Grandmother loved to have her children and grandchildren with her. She loved cooking, fried chicken was her specialty, and baking.
She passed away in 1995. She is buried in the Mt. Zion Church Cemetery on Saturday Road, Victor, West Virginia
