Biography

Antonia (Ortolani) Panepinto has Italian Roots.

Antonia Ortolani was born between 1775 and 1786, the daughter of Giacomo Ortolani and his wife Antonia Teresi.

Antonia Ortolani was married three times. Her first husband was Maestro and Barrel Maker Rosario Raimondo, son of Iganzio Raimondo, Antonia and Rosario Raimondo had many children. Here are the records for their children:

1. Salvadore Raimondo, born between 1812 and 1816 may be her son, born before civil records were kept, but listed as age 23 in 1839 when his son was born, and likely born no later than 1816.

Antonia Ortolani lost her first husband Rosario in the Great Cholera Epidemic in July 1837, while some of her children were still young, and her youngest known child was only age 11.

Antonia Ortolani remarried in 1839 to Pietro Guzzetta, and lost her second husband in 1841

Antonia Ortolani remarried a third time to Calogero Panepinto in 1842.

Antonia Ortolani passed in 1859. We do not know the death date of her third husband and hopefully she was not widowed a third time.
