OBITUARY: Vincent Sciglibaglio, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at his home. Vincent was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 25, 1924. Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Rosina Sciglibaglio, children, Patricia Weinbrecht and her husband, Rich, MaryAnn Norero and her husband, Michael, Paul Sciglibaglio and his wife, Tess and Jean Woodward and her husband, Richard, seven grandchildren, Michael Weinbrecht, Matthew Weinbrecht and his wife, Rachel, Vincent Norero, Laura Norero, Marissa Woodward, Chad Woodward and Citlali Sciglibaglio, great-grandchildren, Owen Weinbrecht and Michael Cordero and loving brothers, Salvatore Sciglibaglio and Joseph Sciglibaglio. Vincent's caring and loving demeanor made him loved by everyone who met him, he touched many hearts. Vincent was a man of sustenance and integrity. Vincent was courageous, strong-willed and a quiet listener. Vincent was the BEST Husband, Father and Grandpa with all the love and joy he brought. Vincent enjoyed outdoor adventures and camping in the mountains. Vincent was an avid adventurer reader. Vincent served in World War II as a Sergeant in the United States Army. Vincent was also a retired New York policeman and firefighter. His legacy will live on in all the lives he touched. The Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. following with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1001 Meteor Avenue NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM.
