Amos Willson [note surname spelling per the only sourced reference yet evident] was a son of John Wilson & Mary Marshall.

He married twice:

1) 26 Oct 1752 @ Torrington, Connecticut, Zerviah Grant. They had 6 children, all born at Torrington:

1. William Willson (31 Oct 1753 - 1 Jun 1754)
2. Ruth Willson, b. 17 Dec 1754; married 12 Mar 1774 Isaiah Tuttle (they had 10 children); d. 21 Apr 1838
3. Roger Willson, b. 2 Aug 1756; married Hannah Marshall of Newfield where they resided (they had 12 children)
4. Roswell Willson (1 Oct 1758 - 2 Nov 1758)
5. Roswell Willson, b. 14 May 1765
6. Rhoda Willson, b. 5 Nov 1768; married Theodore Smith
