Death
According to her Death Certificate, Myrtle died on February 2, 1956 in Memphis, Shelby, Tennessee. She was 47 and was born on September 1, 1908. Her father was George Patrick and her mother was Hattie Pellerin. Her husband was George C. Petty, who was also the informant. She died from cirrhosis of the liver.[1]
She is buried in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Garland, Arkansas. She was 52. Note: This is incorrect, according to her death certificate. So, for now, I'm entering the dates according to her Certificate of Death.
The Courier News in Memphis, Tennessee, printed her obituary naming her husband, George C. Petty and children as Robert ("Bobby") Lewis and J. B. Lewis (Jennings Bryan II.), both from her previous marriage (Jennings Bryan Lewis I.). This obit shows that she was born about 1908 and died about 1956 in Memphis, Tennessee.

1910 Census. George F. Patrick was 31 b. in Missouri living with his spouse, Hattie, who was 29, along with 2 daughters and 2 sons in St. Francois, Missouri. The children were as follows:
1920 Census. George was 40 years old b. in 1880 and was living with his spouse, Hattie, who was 32 b. in 1888 in Hot Springs, Garland, Arkansas. There were four sons and a daughter in the home. The entire family was born in Missouri. The children were as follows:
1940 Census. G. G. age 40 b. in TX was living with his spouse, Myrtle, age 35 b. in Missouri. They were living in Alice, Justice Precinct 1, Jim Wells, Texas. No children were in the household. According to this Census, she was born in 1904 or 1905 - Not sure what her dob is.[5]
