Henry Grattan II was born in Ireland.
Henry was born about 1787, the son of Henry Grattan and Henrietta Fitzgerald.
Henry Grattan married 5 Oct. 1826 to Mary O'Kelly Harvey, daughter of Philiip Whitfield Harvey, newspaper proprietor, of Grove House, Portobello, co. Dublin. [1]
died 16 Jul 1859 at Clara, Co Wicklow,.:
Children included 6 daughters:
- Henrietta married Charles Langdale, inherited the Grattan family residence of Celbridge Abbey, county Kildare
- Pauline married Thomas Arthur Bellew of Mount Bellew, county Galway, who changed his name to Grattan Bellew
- Louisa married ---- Esmonde
The will of Henry Grattan Esquire of Stephens Green, Dublin and of Grove House, Co Dublin, who died 16 Jul 1859 at Clara, Co Wicklow, was proved 23 Aug 1859 at the principal registry by the oath of Thomas Arthur Grattan Bellew of Mount Bellew, County Galway, one of the executors. Effects under £ 9,000 [2]
The will of Henry Grattan Esquire of Stephens Green, Dublin and of Grove House, Co Dublin, who died 16 Jul 1859 at Clara, Co Wicklow, was proved 24 Jan 1861 at the principal registry by the oath of Charles Langdale, Esquire of the Abbey Celbridge, Co Kildare another of the executors.
