Peter Grayson, attorney, poet, diplomat, cabinet officer, and presidential contender. [1]
Born in 1788. Son of Benjamin Grayson and Caroline Taylor. Soldier during the War of 1812. Texas Attorney General 1836-1837. Grayson County, Texas is named in his honor.[1][2]
