Biography
Te Ika Maupoho was born in 1848. He was the son of Potatau Te Wherowhero and Kauaeroa. In 1900, Te Ika's name was recorded on the Ngati Makirangi and Ngati Kahu hapu list. His name also appeared on the Ngati Mahuta list as no. 839. [1] He passed away in 1913.[2]
