Biography

Samuel was born in 1868. He passed away in 1920. In the 1920 Census Sam is living with his sister Lucy and her husband George Snell along with his Mother Mary Mays and sister Jessie Mays. Obit: S. W. Frazier, 52 years old, died Tuesday morning at his home, 725 Center Street. Mr. Frazier, who was formerly in business at Jackson, Tenn., moved to Dallas several months ago and was employed by the Union Terminal Company until his health failed four months ago. He was under medical treatment at Temple and later at San Antonio. He returned to Dallas Monday. Mr. Frazier was a member of the Knights of Phythias, the Elks, and the Woodmen of the World, but had not affiliated with the lodges here. He is survived by his wife; son, Hal; his mother, Mrs. M. J. Mays; three brothers, T. F. Frazier, R. C. Frazier, and C. E. Mays; and two sisters, Mrs. G. R. Snell and Miss Jessie Mays, all of Dallas. Funeral service will be held in the George W. Loudermilk chapel at 4 p. m. today, the Rev. William M. Anderson officiating. Burial will be made in Oakland Cemetery. The pallbearers will be W. B. Hazelwood, J. H. Durham, H. Barnard, L. L. Griswold, W. D. Day, and J. C. Lumpkin.
