Biography
Madelaine Frances Abel Smith was born on 16th September 1889 at Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, England. She was the older daughter of Francis Abel Smith and Madeline Seymour.
She married Harry Ernest Tabor, son of George E. Tabor and Mary Blanche Jacomb, in 1913 at St George Hanover Square, London. They had four children:
- Peter Robert Tabor (1915-91)
- Anthony Andrew Francis Tabor (1919-2014)
- Major General David John St Maur Tabor (1922-2004)
- Wenefryde Madeline Tabor (1914-1999)
She passed away on 27th July 1976 at Yeovil, Somerset, and was buried on 30th July at Wyddiall, Hertfordshire.
