Wilbur Harold Linebaugh, of Edgewater Lane, Brookhaven, formerly of Adams County, died Wednesday at Crozer Hospital in Chester. Mr. Linebaugh was 57.
He was a graduate of Girard College in Philadelphia and was a sergeant in the Air Force. He served with the U.S. Army as an airplane mechanic on Tinian Island in World War II.
Mr. Linebaugh was a mechanic with IBM for more than 30 years.
He was married to the late Estelle Lister Linebaugh of Upland. Mrs. Linebaugh died in 1972.
Mr. Linebaugh is survived by his mother, Mrs. Victor Gallagher of Fairfield; a son, J. Lawrence Linebaugh and a daughter, Margene Denham, both of Brookhaven; three brothers, Robert A. Linebaugh of Harrisburg, Ira R. Linebaugh of Fairfield and Russell K. Linebaugh of Columbus, Ohio; and a sister, Faith Linebaugh of Gettysburg.
Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 pm. at the Blyler Funeral Home, 500 W. 22nd St., Chester. Funeral services will be held there Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Middletown Presbyterian Cemetery.

Lister
James E. Lister, 61, an employe of the Congoleum-Nairn Corp., Marcus Hook for 36 years was pronounced dead on arrival at Sacred Heart Hospital on Wednesday.
He lived at 56 Upland Ave., Upland.
Mr. Lister was a member of Upland Baptist Church; Chester Lodge No. 236 F & AM, Chester; Tall Cedars of Lebanon. Penn Lodge No. 21, Chester and was a charter member of the Upland Fire Company.
Surviving are his widow, the former Estella E. Deardorff; a daughter, Mrs. Estelle Linebaugh of Brookhaven and two grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the William S. Bleyler Funeral Home, 500 W. 22nd St,. Chester. Burial will be in Middletown Presbyterian Cemetery, Middletown.
Calling hours will be Friday after 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Masonic services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
