In 1880, the Dahlman family lived in Heber, Utah. The household included Alfred Dahlman, 37, born in Sweden (parents b. Sweden), a shoemaker; his wife Augusta, 18, b. Sweden (parents b. Sweden); and their 7 month old daughter, Anne, b. Utah in October 1879.^[1]

In 1900, the Dahlman family lived in Heber, Utah. All members of the household age 14 and over could read, write, and speak English. The household included Alfred Dahlman, 57, born in Sweden in May 1843 (parents b. Sweden), a shoemaker, who owned their house free and clear; his wife of 21 years, E. Augusta, 38, b. Alfred Olsson Dahlman, born in Sweden in 1843, died in 1905. He is buried with his wife and other family at Heber City Cemetery, Heber, Utah. Alfred was the son of Olaf Dahlman and Catharina Jonsson, both born in Sweden. Alfred married Augusta Elenora Hanson in 1878. Alfred lived the first forty years of his life in Sweden. He was a shoemaker. He died, aged 61 years, eleven months, of epilepsy, drowning when he fell into water.^[3]
