Graveside funeral services for John Leland Boothe, 60, of 908 28th St, who died Monday at Druid City Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calcedonia Baplist Cemetery near Buhl. The Rev. David Kelly will officiate with Hayes Chapel Funeral Home directing. Survivors include two daughters. Miss Charlotte Ann Boothe and Miss Katherine Boothe. both of Tuscaloosa; three sons. Robert Boothe, Travis Ray Boothe and Donald Boothe, all of Tuscaloosa; a brother, Andrew Terrell Boothe of Moundville; and other relatives. Pallbearers will be J.B. Hall, Truman Potion, Keith Rogers. Joe Klepac, Roy Pate and Johnny Ryan. Honorary pallbearers will include employees of the maintenance department at the University of Alabama and friends and neighbors of 28th Street.
