Biography

In the household record covering 1675-1684 Erik Person is head of the household that owns 2/3 of the southern farm in Nybble. He is listed with his wife, Anna Larsdotter, two bachelors named Håkan Månsson and Sven Johansson and a maid, Karin. ^[1] Actually 1677 is the first year Erik Persson in in the taxation record with a wife.^[2]

Erik Persson in Nybble is in the muster roll for Livregementet till häst in 1683 as sponsor (rusthållare) for cavalry soldier Håkan Näbb, #22 in Ryttmästare Lieven's Compagnie^[3]

In the household record for Nybble 1684-1692 we find Erich Persson with wife Anna Larsdotter and daughter Karin. (Since Karin was born in 1680 her parents will probably have married at a time when there were no marriage records.) Erich has been crossed out and replaced with Per Ersson.^[4]

Erik Persson in Nybble was buried 24 May 1691 - Anna was widowed.^[5]

In 1691 widow Anna Larsdotter is sole responsible for soldier Håkan Näbb. (The muster was held in autumn).^[6]

Then, in 1692 it is Per Eriksson and Håkan Näbb, who are rusthållare for soldier #52 Pehr Nyman, riding for Nybble.^[7] Indeed, Per Ersson in Nybble has married in June 1692.^[8] This is one of the records where the name of the bride is not mentioned, nor the fact that she was a widow - or that Per very likely came from another village.

The family in the household record for 1693-1699 lists head of household Per Ersson (dead), his wife Anna and four children from Anna's first marriage: Lars (14), Karin (11), Annika (8) and Ingri (4).^[9]

Per Eriksson in Nybble was buried 30 July 1693. No age given.^[10]

In 1695 widow Anna Larsdotter and Håkan Näbb are rusthållare for soldier #52 Pehr Nyman. ^[11] Same people in 1696.^[12] Hustru Anna Larsdotter in Nybble was buried 28 August 1698. She was 39 years old.^[13]
