Biography

Leigh was born in 1877. He was the son of Henry Dolley and Mary Preble.

Leigh married Lucy Tracey on Dec 9, 1906 in Passadumkeag, Maine.^[1][2]

He passed away in 1957^[3]and is buried at Village Cemetery Passadumkeag, Maine.^[4]

Obituary

LEIGH R. DOLLEY; PASSADUMKEAG, Jan. 17 - Leigh R. Dolley, 80, died Wednesday at his home after a long illness. Mr Dolley was born in Lincoln December 2, 1876, the son of Henry and Mary (Preble) Dolley. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Smith of Danforth and Mrs. Katherine Bortell of Old Town; and by three sons, Wallace and Manley of Passadumkeag, and Walter of Lincoln Center. Funeral services will be held at the Passadumkeag Baptist Church Sunday at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Theodore Wallace officiating. Burial will be in the spring in the family lot of the Lincoln cemetery. Friends may call at the residence at Passadumkeag Friday and Saturday.
