Biography

Catherine M. "Katy" Smith was born in 1876 in Hartford, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Irish Catholic immigrants James Smith and Mary Sheridan.^[1]

It is hoped Katy enjoyed happy days and dreams during her short lifetime. Sadly, she passed away in 1889. Katy is buried with her parents and two siblings at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, Hartford County, Connecticut.^[2]
