BARLAR, Jimmy Joe. The Pulaski Citizen 15 Sep 1965.

Jimmy Joe Barlar, 59, hotel employee in Miami, Fla., and son of J. M. Barlar of Pulaski, died unexpectedly at midnight Thursday, September 16, in a Miami hospital. Funeral services and burial took place in that city.

Born March 17, 1906, in Giles County, he was the son of J. M. Barlar and the late Mrs. Nellie Kate Pinkston Barlar. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Tillie Barlar; two brothers, Woodrow Barlar, Pulaski, and Sherman Barlar, Miami, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Christine Redus, Memphis.

Burial: Southern Memorial Park, North Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida
