Biography

Claiborne was born in 1860. Clayborne Harrison Adams was a carpenter. He moved to Texas to live with an uncle Barrick near the town of Chico, Texas likely around 1875 as a teenager.

When Kay Adams came to north Texas, he remembered seeing bison/buffalo hides stacked higher than a man's head in downtown Fort Worth, Texas from the great bison hunts of the plains.
