Mary was born in 1724 in York, capital of Yorkshire, England, and home of the Archbishop of York. [1]
Although she must have been a person of note, in the city as well as the cathedral close, no record of her 36 years has attracted attention.
Mary passed away 29 December 1760, and the funeral as expected was in York Minster. [2]

Was married to a John houltby which has led be back to my father's mother, her name was Winifred houltby. So if everything I have found is true I can possibly shed some light on some of the information missing about Mary lamplugh.
So far I have found that she possibly had died in abt 1782 in Bolton Percy Yorkshire. And of course she was married to a John houltby, and they had a child named John and then he had a child named John who also then had a child named James who married a Damaris roberts Who gave birth to my great grandad on my dad's side(John William houltby.
It's a little confusing I know and there are siblings of these ancestors, but I have not had time to go through everyone yet
