Elizabeth was born to Theophilus and Elizabeth Mead Peck in Greenwich on 21 Nov 1731^[1][2]

Elizabeth Peck married Joseph Close, as his second wife, in Greenwich about 1751, judging from the estimated birth date of their first child.^[3][1]
