Thomas was born Dec 17 1792 in Madbury, Strafford, New Hampshire. His parents were Samuel Ham and Lydia Tibbets. ^[1]

Thomas lived on the home farm in Barrington. For many years he was badly crippled with rheumatism, probably now known as arthritis, and was tenderly cared for by his son, Samuel Caverno Ham.

Thomas married Mary 'Polly' Caverno of Strafford, New Hampshire Oct 18 1818. She was born Feb 4 1799 and died Apr 27 1877. ^[2]
