Biography
Anastasia Mikhailovna, born 28 July 1860 (16 July acccording to the Julian calendar then in use in Russia) in St Petersburg, was the daughter of Grand Duke Mikhail Nikolaevich of Russia and his wife Olga Fyodorovna[1]. She was the grand-daughter of Tsar Nicholas I[2].
She married Friedrich Franz, Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, on 24 January 1879 in the Winter Palace[2].
She died on 11 March 1922 in Èze (Alpes-Maritimes)[1].

- Le 11 mars 1922, à deux heures du soir, est décédée Son Altesse Impériale Anastasie Michaïlovna de Russie, née à Petrograd le 28 juillet 1860, fille de Son Altesse Impériale le grand-duc Nicholaevitch Michel (sic) et de son épouse Olga Theodorovna. Dressé le 12 mars 1922, dix heures, sur la déclaration de M. Wladimir Paltoff, 48 ans, secrétaire des commandements, et de Son Altesse Impériale le Grand Duc Alexandre Michaïlovitch âgé de 56 ans qui, lecture faite, ont signé avec nous Beaume Auguste adjoint spécial au maire d'Eze.
