Mary was born about 1510. She passed away in 1557. She was William Jephson's 2nd wife.
Possibly a daughter of Sir William Gifford, she may have been aunt to John Gyfford of Echell (or Itchell).
She died at Froyle, Hampshire in 1557. Her Will is dated June 1557 and inventory was taken on 20/11/1557.
She was the mother of "my daughter Elizabeth ... my son William" and a Christian(a).
Husband William's Inquisition Post Mortem shows that Mary had three daughters: Alienor (or Eleanor) born in 1537; Cristina (or Christian or Christiana) born in 1538 and Elizabeth, born in 1540.
Her surname is spelt "Jefson" in Baigert.
