Biography
Mailtand was born 14 Feb 1843 in Henderson, Jefferson County, New York.
The 35th Infantry Regiment Co. K was Mustered in: June 11, 1861 and Mustered out: June 5, 1863[1][2]
The 18th Cavalry Regiment Left the State in detachments: September 26, 1863 to January 1864 and Mustered out: May 31, 1866[3]
The 1880 Census lists 34 year old Mailtand S. Robbins. Who was living in Sumter, McLeod, Minnesota with his wife and four children. Mailtand was working as a Carpenter[4].
He has a pention record saying that on 17 Jan 1893 he was listed as an invalid.[5]
On 24 Oct 1929, Maitland died in Hubbard County, Minnesota[6][5]
