SCHUELEIN Chester John, age 89, went to be with the Lord on 10-17-93. Chester was born 11-1-03 in Welcome, Mn. to Hulda and George Schuelein.
Chester married Martha Clara Holtzen on 6-5-27 in Enid, Ok. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha and a son, Roland. Chester was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church and a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. He was very instrumental in providing their presence on the south side of OKC by aiding in the construction of three churches. His survivors include 2 sons, Virgil Lee Schuelein and wife, Dorothy "Dot" of Denver, Co., Victor Ray Schuelein and wife, Ina of Edmond, Ok.; sisters, Lucy Gibson of Wellington, Ks., Martha Trafton, Enid, Ok., Esther Bishop, Neosho, Mo.; brothers, Fred Schuelein, Springdale, Ar., Robert Schuelein, Wellington, Ks., Kit Schuelein, Sand Springs, Ok.; daughter-in-law, Lois Schuelein of OKC; grandchildren, Steve Schuelein and wife, Jan, Craig Schuelein (deceased), Annette Schuelein, Mark Schuelein and wife, Judy, Beth Schuelein, Lynn Koepsell and husband, Jeff, Gail Stevens and husband, James, Chet Schuelein and wife, Terri, Scott Schuelein, Virginia Walsh and husband, Mike; great grandchildren, Miranda Schuelein, Asa Schuelein, Andrea Schuelein, Rachel Schuelein, Emily Schuelein, Christopher Stevens, Shanna Schuelein; and numerous other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, 10-19-93, at New Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Harold Kamman officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
