Biography
John was born to William Booker Foster Jr and Levinia Lucinda Cooper. Grandson of William Booker Foster Sr and Tabitha Craddock.
Source documents show his name as John L Foster when in Tennessee. After he moved to Texas all the documents show John S Foster. Same person, same wife. I looked at a couple of the original documents and it is written John S Foster, they just were not transcribed correctly.
Died in Timpson, Texas and buried in the local Buena Vista Cemetery in Timpson.
