Biography

Johan Fredrik Karlsson was born on September 6, 1854 in Hishult parish, Halland, Sweden.

He came from Hishult to Kungshult in Allerum parish in 1873 to work, and emigrated from there to New Zealand on September 23, 1874.[1]

He passed away on July 29, 1945 at Hastings Memorial Hospital in Hastings, New Zealand after a short illness.
