Sarah Hagens was born on 17 January 1761 in Scarborough, Maine[1].
She married William Bragdon on 3 August 1780 in Scarborough. They had nine children[2]:

- 3. Sarah, born 1 Mar 1785

- 6. William, born 30 Dec 1791; married Hannah Bryant
- 7. Edmund, born 20 Mar 1794; married Abigail Nason
- 8. Mehitable, born 28 Apr 1796; married Joseph Kimball
- 9. Sewall, born 6 Jul 1798; died young
Sarah passed away on 9 October 1848 in North Limington, Maine[5].
