Biography
Eliza Westropp was born about 1773. She was the daughter of Ralph Westropp of Lismehane and Clonmoney, County Clare, and after 1781 of Attyflin, County Limerick, and Mary Johnson.[1]
On 10 March 1793, she married Lt Arthur Brereton of Ballyadams, Queen's County (now County Laois).[1][2][3]
Arthur and Eliza had children:
- Mary Brereton
- George Stamer Brereton
- Emma Johnson Brereton
- John Brereton
- Ralph Westropp Brereton
- Reverend Henry Brereton
- William Westropp Brereton
- Nicholas Brereton died young
- Arthur Brereton died young
She passed away in 1848.
