Biography

Edward Anderson was born on 14 May 1814 in Windham, Maine. His parents were Edward Anderson and Olive (Waterhouse) Anderson^[1].

He married Olive Strout on 15 November 1835 in Limington, Maine^[2]. They had at least four children^[3] (two others are noted in their household on the 1860 census):

1. Edwin Philbrick, born Sep 1836; died young

2. Marinda Jane, born 1 Jan 1838; died 1860

3. John Orrin, born 10 Apr 1840; died 1860

4. Osborn, born 23 Jan 1843; married Zilpha Pingree

Edward passed away on 25 March 1873 in Chatham, New Hampshire^[4].
