Biography

Moses Moody was born on 4 April 1786 in Gorham, Maine. His parents were Joseph Moody and Elizabeth (Plaisted) Moody^[1].

He married Octavia Hagens on 12 May 1811 in Limington^[2]. They had three children^[3]:

1. Walter Hagens, born 1 Jul 1813; married 1st Margaret Bradeen, 2nd Sarah Wentworth, 3rd Louisa (Haskell) Stone

2. Cyrus, born Dec 1814; married Mary Jane Boothby

3. Newell, born Sep 1823; married Mary Small

Moses passed away on 17 October 1838 in Limington^[4].
