Jessie Lou Bobo Vickery, 97, of Muscle Shoals, died Thursday, April 14, 2011.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Larry Smart officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George R. Bobo and Birzady Bobo; brothers, James Alfred Bobo and Truman H. Bobo; sisters, Lela Wilson, Reba Turner, Ann Barnwell and Mary Bobo.
She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Vickery Duffey, husband, Jesse B. Duffey Jr., of Muscle Shoals; son, James Vickery and wife, Agnes, of Shelby Township, Mich.; granddaughters, Susan Davis, Sherry Boyle (Jim) and Sandy Hill (Jere), of Michigan; grandson, Jesse Bernard Duffey III, of Muscle Shoals; sister, Lily Bobo West, of Birmingham; three great-grandsons, Jimmy Boyle, Ryan and Kyle Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials of sympathy may be made to First Southern Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals.
