Biography
Eliza Gookin was born on 23 July 1795 in Hampton, New Hampshire. Her parents were Daniel Gookin and Abigail Dearborn.[1][2]
She married James Brown Thornton on 30 January 1817. Their known children include:
She appears with her husband and four of their children in the 1850 U.S. Census living in Biddleford, Maine.[3]
She died on 27 July 1854 and is buried with her husband at Laurel Hilly Cemetery, Saco, Maine.[4][5]
