John was born in 1920.
Maj. John A. Mackay, U.S. Air Force, retired. was the son of John Alexander Mackay and Flora Mae MacLennan
Born Boston, MA.
Regular officer in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. Fighter pilot, WWII & Korean conflict. Received the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1943.
Survived by wife, son, three daughters, 8 grandchildren.
Predeceased by sister, Dorothy Mackay.
