Biography

Eric was born in 1883, the son of Charles Mackellar and Marion Buckland.[1]

They spent time in Gunnedah, NSW, at their Kurrumbede property. The early Australian film "The Man from Kangaroo" was to have been partly filmed at this property. [2] [3] [4]

In 1927, Eric married Ann F Thornton.[5][6] After travelling to Europe via the USA in 1928[7][8] Ann died in February 1929.[9]

He died in 1950.[10][11]
