Biography
Birth
- Hannah Tilson was born at Hartford, Maine (then in Massachusetts), on 30 Aug 1801, the daughter of Josiah Tilson and Hannah (Sturtevant) Tilson.[1][2] (Hannah's FindAGrave memorial gives her birth date as 30 Aug 1802, which conflicts with both her birth record and with her age at her death from her gravestone.[3])
Marriages
- Hannah Tilson married Scammon Starbird, probably at either Hartford or Peru, Maine. Their first known child was born on 23 Feb 1820.[2]
- Hannah (Tilson) Starbird married the widower Oliver Lucas at Peru, Maine, on 2 Apr 1863.[4]
Death
- A gravestone at the Evergreen Cemetery in Caribou, Maine, says that Hannah Lucas died on 7 Sep 1874 at the age of 73 years, 7 days.[3]
