Biography

Daniel Crosby Greene was born on 11 February 1843 in Roxbury, Massachusetts to Rev. David Greene and Mary (Evarts) Greene. He married Miss Mary Jane Forbes July 29, 1869.

Together they became the parents of Evarts Boutell Greene, Fannie Bradley Greene, Daniel Crosby Greene, Jerome Davis Greene, Mary Avery Greene, Roger Sherman Greene II, Elisabeth Grosvenor Greene, and Edward Forbes Greene.

He passed away in 1913 and was buried at Aoyama Cemetery in Minato-ku, Tokyo Metropolis, Japan.
