Biography

Charles Slade was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts on March 4, 1816. He was the son of Henry Slade and Sally Danforth.

Charles Slade was a co-founder of the Slade Spice Company. He later sold his interest and was replaced by his brother, Levi Slade in 1837.

Charles married Almira Prudence Hall on June 18, 1843 in Saugus, Essex County, Massachusetts.

Charles died in Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts on February 4, 1896, and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, Massachusetts[1].
