Biography

Charles John Aldworth Coote, of Mount Coote, Klimallock, son of Chidley Coote and Anne Hewitt, was born in Baker Street, London, Oct 27th 1811, at 8 o'clock in the evening; he was christened in Marylebone Church. His sponsors were Richard Aldworth, Esq. of Newmarket and Miss Hodges, new Mrs Leman of the Crescent, Bath (Official document).^[1][2]

Charles died without posterity 29 January 1897, succeeded at Mount Coote by his nephew Capt Charles James Coote. He was, through his ancestress Lady Elizabeth Brabazon, wife of Charles Philips Coote, the representative of Sir Lewis Clifford (KG tempore Henry IV), younger son of Roger, Lord Clifford, and one of the coheirs of Sir Arnold Savage, Speaker of the House of Commons.

His Estate was registered in 1897 in England.^[3][4]
