Biography

Aaron was born in 1818. He was the son of Hezekiah Osborn and Esther Olmstead. He passed away in 1887.

"Aaron Osborne ... was born in the town of Redding, October 11, 1818, and died January 24, 1887. His education was acquired in the common schools of that town, and in early manhood engaged in the making of cheese cases for the Gilbert & Bennett Manufacturing Co., with whom he worked some fifty-two years. Politically he is a firm believer in Republican principles, but he did not aspire to office; in religious faith he was a Methodist, being an active member of the Church of that denomination at Georgetown. He and his wife [Mary C. Gregory] reared a family of four children..."^[1]
